Welcome to the wonderful world of SNX, or; Snacks. Everyone grew up with it, the bitterbal: A tasty bitterbal is a delicious Dutch snack with French origins filled with stewed meat. There was a time when we had more than 30 factories in the Netherlands making delicious bitterballs. Now there are only a handful. The biggest brands and house brands often come from the same factory, a little more powder here and a little more salt there. But overall: nothing artisanal anymore, a waste of what it once was. And actually not that good a bitterball anymore.
So when you order your bitterball on the terrace and wonder what you're eating? Chances are it's mostly dough. After all, that's cheap. And with some flavor enhancers added, you'll get there. As far as we are concerned, the bitterball is well undervalued and we have destroyed a wonderful product because mass is cash. And with so few manufacturers, we thought, "make the bitterball great again!" And so we did: now for the first time and the only Nutriscore B tasty bitterball. So we call our bitterball the Betterball. Are you eating healthy? Well, we think so. In any case, better.
More and more you hear, "That bitterball shouldn't be allowed anymore," or "We're doing away with the bitterball because it's so ordi." But a good bitterball is craftsmanship and loved by all. So is SNX's. Party planners often opt for alternatives due to business considerations such as less meat. But did you know that a tasty bitterball is still what people prefer to eat?

SNX uses only beef in its products. Did you know that you may soon say you are making a beef bitterball if you use beef stock alone? From now on, look carefully on the packaging. Here you will soon see other declarations. Often leftovers are used, from unknown products. The meat we use comes from the Netherlands and is 100% beef. We use up to 25% in the croquette and bitterball.
